Walter Theisinger was born in 1960 in Sololov/Czechoslovakia and lives in Germany since 1969. He was able to gain his first important musical experiences in the late 70īs in a blues-rock-band, what induced him to start his studies of music. 1987 he passed his exam at the Meistersinger-Conservatory in Nuremberg. His oeuvre comprises soli, chamber music for different instrumentations or filmmusic (i.e. in coorperation with the academy of film in Potsdam/Babelsberg) Awards were given to two compositions at the composerīs competition in Siegburg. At present, he teaches guitar at the college of music in Plattling and at the University of Ratisbone (Bavaria).
